Science, Engineering and Technology.... Children were presented with a variety of materials and given the opportunity to use critical thinking skills to design a structure. This activity took several days and resulted in the children writing a script for their structure and presenting it to their peers.
	Planning... This is an example of a curriculum plan that is presented to families on a weekly basis. This gives the families a clear look at how afterschool curricula connect to life experiences as well as curricula connected to the public schools.
Broadening Word Knowledge... This is an example of words children are learning, and that are used to advance knowledge of other languages that are represented in the classroom.
	A Look Forward... Children were asked what they wanted to be when they grew up and then asked to draw a picture of what they think they would look like. This activity helped develop imagination, and critical thinking skills.
