About Us ...

Located in Malden, just a few miles North of Boston, The Children's Learning Center serves early learners and school age children.

The Children's Learning Center believes in the healthy, safe development of children and their families. Children ages 2.9 - 5 are learning skills that will provide an easy transition to elementary school While many see early learning as play, and it is, there are definite, progressive, academic related subject areas being learned.

  For example, when children play in the sand table the teacher is guiding them through Social Development, Mathematics, Science exploration and literacy.

The afterschool school age program provides a safe, healthy, supervised environment that enables parents/guardians not to be stressed when the formal academic day is done. During the time children spend in supervised care they are learning academic skills but in a hands on way; many times complementing their earlier in the day experiences.

For exampte, the children may know "service" means helping others but in the school age program the children actually do the community service.
